The then-Dean of the University of Tübingen, Prof. Dr. Dr. Eberhard Schaich, and the President of the TroiaStiftung, Dr. Hanns-Günther Jansen, are to be heartily thanked for their generous support of the project.
For the excavation campaign of 2007 Prof. Dr. Horst Ehringhaus (Innsbruck), Dr. Hans Günter Jansen (Böblingen), the Robert Bosch Foundation (Robert Bosch Stiftung, Stuttgart) and the Societas Anatolica (İstanbul) generously granted financial support. We are very thankful for these donations.
